One of the joys of working in a Christian school is watching the educational journey come full circle and welcoming past students back into the school community as staff. So we are thrilled to welcome a number of former Kuyper students among the new members of our Support staff team as Teacher’s Aides this year.
Bethany Lawless is a Kuyper graduate from our class of 2020 and is currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts and Education (Secondary) at Macquarie University. She is involved in Youth ministry at St John’s Anglican, Wilberforce and enjoys visual arts, history and travel.
Bethany joins our team of Secondary support staff in a full-time capacity this year. Welcome, Bethany!
Ben Speirs is also a Kuyper graduate from our class of 2019. Ben is currently studying a Bachelor of Science (Pathway to Teaching Secondary) at Western Sydney University. He is involved in children’s ministry at Richmond Anglican Church and likes to play board games in his spare time.
Ben joins our team of Secondary support staff two days a week this year. Welcome, Ben!
We also warmly welcome Charles Tan to our team of Secondary support staff two days a week. Charles is currently studying a Master of Teaching (Secondary) at Western Sydney University. He is involved in leadership and music ministry in his home church and is active in university ministry as a member of Campus Bible Ministries. Charles enjoys reading theology books, playing music, and a bit of creative writing.
Welcome, Charles!
Charles, Ben, and Bethany have spent recent weeks getting to know our staff and students. We are already enjoying the energy, unique skills, and love for Jesus each of them brings to their roles. Praise God for His ongoing provision for our school!
If you see Bethany, Ben, or Charles about the school, please make them feel welcome.
