Primary Easter Show Excursion 🌾🐄🎡
Our Year 3 and 4 students enjoyed a much-loved end-of-term excursion to the Sydney Royal Easter Show—and what a great day it was!
As an agricultural show, the Easter Show offers a rich window into human creativity and endeavour. From cooking and handicrafts to fresh produce and animal husbandry, and even up-close encounters with impressive, life-saving machinery, there was so much to explore and appreciate.
In a culture often shaped by screens, the day provided a refreshing opportunity for students to engage with the tangible world around them—experiencing something of the wonder of God-given creativity and our place within His creation.
Of course, no trip to the Show would be complete without a few highlights along the way—including the famous Human Cannonball!
A sincere thank you to our volunteer parents and Year 8 student helpers whose time and support made the day possible. We are grateful for you! 💚

Hopefully for the children’s safety you find one soon. It’s a shame there has been no leadership since Mark left.
As we celebrate Easter, we are reminded again of the heart of the Christian faith: that Jesus stepped into our broken world, carried our burdens, and rose again so that we might have life—full, forgiven, and forever secure in Him. Easter is not just a moment in the calendar; it is the anchor of our hope. He is risen indeed!

2026 New Parents' Dinner 🍽
Last night, we had the privilege of gathering with new families for our New Parents’ Dinner at The Village Kitchen, Kurrajong. It was a lovely evening of sharing a meal together and building relationships.
Together, we reflected on what it means to nurture positive relationships within a distinctly Christian school community. At Kuyper, we recognise that each of us—parents, staff, and students—has a unique role in our school community, and that these roles carry both responsibility and authority. As we honour these roles with humility and mutual respect, we reflect something of God’s good order in the way we live and learn together.
We were reminded that this partnership is not always easy. There will be moments of misunderstanding and challenge, but we are called to respond with grace—to listen, to support one another, and to seek restoration where needed.
We are thankful for the opportunity to partner with our families in this important work, as we seek to raise children who can live restoratively for Jesus in a world where every square inch belongs to Him.
Huge thanks to Shane and the team @ The Village Kitchen, Kurrajong, for a fantastic meal and beautiful venue. 💚

It was such a wonderful event. Meeting other parents and spending time with the amazing staff at Kuyper was truly a blessing. Thank you to everyone who helped make the evening possible, and to The Village Kitchen for hosting us and providing such amazing food. It was also encouraging to hear that we are all walking the same path in wanting the very best for our children’s education, with Christ at the centre of it all.
It was such an amazing night, Thankyou 🙂
