From the Board Chair
The AKCEA Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Miss Cassie Dixon as Principal of Kuyper Christian School, commencing in 2027.
Following a thorough and prayerful selection process, including careful assessment of several suitable candidates, the School Board appointed Miss Dixon to lead Kuyper into its next chapter.
Cassie is already well known within the Kuyper community through her leadership in curriculum, faith formation and staff development. She brings a thoughtful, steady and deeply relational approach to leadership, grounded in a strong commitment to the mission of Christian education and a genuine love for students and families.
Her desire to see young people grow in wisdom and wonder under Christ is evident in her work and reflects Kuyper’s commitment to preparing students to flourish as God’s people in God’s world.
Throughout 2026, Miss Dixon will continue in her current role as Head of Teaching & Learning, and Acting Principal on Fridays, while working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and School Board to ensure a smooth and well-supported transition into the Principal role.
We warmly congratulate Miss Dixon on her appointment and invite the Kuyper community to join us in praying for her as she prepares to take on this important responsibility and lead the School from 2027.

A Word from Cassie
I am thrilled to take on the role of Principal at Kuyper Christian School next year. I am deeply committed to Christian education, particularly here at Kuyper, and long to see all students living restoratively for Jesus in a world in which every square inch belongs to Him.
I also deeply value the partnership we share with parents at Kuyper. Together, we want to see your children thrive as they discover the gifts God has given them and grow in their understanding of their identity and value as His image-bearers.
I am looking forward to continuing to work alongside and learn from Bill for the remainder of the year, forming a deeper relationship with the Board, and working with them, our Senior Leadership Team and staff to plan for 2027 and beyond.
