We are pleased to share an exciting update regarding our Junior School team for 2027. As you are aware, Jo Kean will retire at the end of 2026 after many years of faithful service, and I am pleased to announce that Amanda McAlpine has accepted the position of Kindergarten Teacher for 2027.
Amanda is already well-known and deeply appreciated within our community through her work as our Prep Class Teacher. Her gentle and vivacious presence and joyful commitment to nurturing young learners have been a great blessing to students and families alike. Amanda brings a warm, steady, and highly relational approach to teaching, grounded in a clear love for children and a desire to see them grow in confidence, curiosity, and faith.
As she prepares to step into the Kindergarten role, Amanda will continue to work closely with the Junior School team to ensure a smooth and well-supported transition for students and families. Her experience in early learning, combined with her thoughtful integration of faith and learning, makes her wonderfully suited to guide our youngest students as they begin their formal schooling journey.
