After much prayer and reflection, our Director of Programs and Development, Mrs Alexis Clarke, has shared with the Board that she will close this chapter of her story with Kuyper at the end of this year.
Lexi has always been inspired by Abraham Kuyper’s vision of life and education: that every moment, every action, and every relationship—no matter how small—is part of a larger, purposeful narrative. She has sought to share the power of story and the impact it can have, not only in our own lives but in the lives of those around us. We are thankful for the many contributions and perspectives that she has shared to sharpen our understanding of learners and learning. The regard in which Lexi is held by her students speaks to her abilities in communication and the depth of empathy and care expressed in her story. We are confident that Lexi will be a blessing to her new school community.
On a different note, we are delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Jeff Brown to our Primary staff team commencing in 2025. Jeff will replace Mr Brett Mills as our Year 5 class teacher.
Jeff is an energetic and seasoned teacher with two decades of experience in Christian schooling and a clear vision for Christ-centred education. He is highly experienced in teaching Years 4-6, including Stage 3 & 4 Coding and STEAM, and has a particular passion for sport and chess, having coached teams for competitions in both areas. We look forward to the energy and gifts Jeff will bring to our teaching team in the new year.
